St. Andrew Presbyterian Church at 3700 Baseline, Boulder

Saturday, November 22nd, 2008 - 7:30pm
Seventh Day Adventist Church at 345 Mapleton Ave., Boulder

A reception follows each performance.

Our 30th season fall concert, entitled Everlasting Voices, is highlighted by a commissioned work of the same title by David DeLyser for chorus, piano, and cello.  The concert will also feature a set of world music including the powerful "Horizons," ethereal cathedral music with Rachmaninoff's "Ave Maria," a rare preview of a piece by Colorado composer Timothy Tharaldson, and will culminate with contemporary American vocal jazz and spirituals. We are excited to begin our 30th season. Come join the celebration!!!

Fall 2008 concerts a success!
Thanks to all who contributed to our successful fall season and to the opening concerts of our 30th anniversary season! We had over 300 people in attendance for the series and were excited to host three composers during the weekend. The highlight of the concert both nights was the commissioned piece "Everlasting Voices," written by David De Lyser, which was composed for SATB divisi choir, piano, and cello. Also on the concert was the stirring "Horizons" which was first performed by the Kings Singers. A reception was held after each concert. Our spring concerts will be held April 17 & 18, 2009 with auditions for select voices on January 12 & 19.
